Why we give

Giving is an act of worship by which we offer our first and best to the Lord through our:


Stewardship

All we have belongs to the Lord (Psalm 24:1). We contribute to center our heart in God’s kingdom (Matthew 6:21).

Generosity

God gave us His Son as a sacrifice for our sin. Therefore, we contribute sacrificially and lovingly like Jesus (John 3:16; 2 Cor 8:9; 9:15).

Cheerfulness

It was with joy that Jesus endured the cross (2 Cor 8:9, Heb 12:2) so we contribute with gladness (2 Cor 9:6-7) and eagerness (2 Cor 8:1-4).

  • Jill Patrick | Finance Administrator

    Jill Patrick serves as our finance administrator for Living Hope Bible Church, and lives in Nashville, TN with her husband, Ryan, and their daughter, Brielle, and a labradoodle. She is the finance administrator for six churches. She loves using her gifts to serve the leadership of the church as they steward the resources the Lord entrusts to them. In her free time, Jill enjoys hosting people in her home, serving at her local church, and spending time with friends and family. Jill can be reached at livinghopebookkeeping@gmail.com.
